This Was A Great Day To Scout..

yesterday evening while i was feedind my quail i heard a gobble not even 100 yards from my pen i looked up in the woods just in time to see him fly up to roost, i watched him strut on that limb untill it got to dark to see. so this morning while scouting i heard him gobble his head off, that was the first one of the morning, so i walked the pipline that runs my farm and heard several different birds gobbling as i walked to one of my favorite feilds. when i got to the feild the hens were yelping like crazy and 5 nice big gobblers were struting and gobbling , i saw 3 hens get bred by the boss bird, so after a while sitting there i snuck out and walked to another feild that i love to hunt and when i got there i sat down just in time to have 17 deer come feeding in they fed rite up to me they were less than 50 yards from me i got some real nice pics of them, then they started staring at something and here comes 6 hens and 3 big gobblers on there tail strutting and fighting with each other..
it was just a great morning to be in the woods !!!
all said and done i heard at least 100 gobbles im sure most were from the same birds that i watched, and counted 33 deer in all..
just gotta love these kind of days !!!

I would say that if I died tomorrow and I had to picture what heaven would be like you just painted the picture for me...we could only be so lucky huh???
