Louisville Bats home opener

Anyone ever go to the Bats games, they are a good time, and tickets are cheap. I prefer the pregame happy hour $1.00 16oz Budweisers.
Which the home opener happens to be on Friday April 14th and is a $1.00 beer night. I better take it easy that night or I'll sleep right through turkey opening day (won't be the first time I over slept after $1.00 beer night).:D

I go fairly often. It's good baseball, the park is great, and there's nothing like a beer and a hot dog dinner!

Since I'm downtown, I always try to make the weekday games they have every so often.

Do you go to the Fire games? Those are a blast!

I've only been to one fire game and that was a few years back.
I work downtown also I go a few times a month.

I work downtown as well, and there's nothing like walking over to the ball park to drink $1.00 beer and eat $1.00 hotdogs before the game. I usually don't stick around much after the 2nd inning though.lol Beer prices go up and I go home. Awesome ball park for a minor leage team. 2nd to none IMO. From what I hear, the Bats ought to be pretty good this year.

Here's a side note for ya,

Since Fouth Street Live opened, when we would get to the person who was collecting money(to let you in) we would tell them we were Bat's players or team affiliated. They would let us in every single time for free. No cover charge. It worked for about a year and half. Was down there back in Dec. and tried it, and they said Bat's players no longer get a free ride.lol

Yeah, I work 1 block from Slugger field so I try to take in a few games a year, it really is a nice field!
