Anyone have a suggestion for a really good air mattress. Cliff and I bought 4 different ones and they dont seem to be holding up more than a year. The last one we bought was the air mattress with a frame from the Wally-World, it lasted one day. I think it had a hole in it. How can I tell if it was one that was made this year? :)

My wife ordered the Aero Bed off of the home shopping channel and I must say that thing is comfortable. It blows up in a matter of minutes and you can make it as hard or as soft as you like. Got pillows built in which is a plus. Bad part about it is that is a choir to pack around but worth every penny in my book.

Ditch the air mattresses and get a thick Therma-Rest.

I agree with Corndogggy... Thermarest is the way to go...

Only one problem. I am OLD. No I have arthritis in my back, and corydonboy has it in his hips so the ground is not a good place for us, we need to be up a little higher. We bought a double-high coleman airbed. It is working fine. I have a new question. I am looking into buying a camp table to use for the propane stove and other stuff. Got any suggestions. I have looked at the ones from coleman and they look pretty good. I wanted something that is going to last a few years and not fall apart after one trip.

Suzie, Sam's has a folding table made of heavy plastic. It's called Lifetime Brand. It folds into about a 30 inch square, the legs are adjustable for height, and it has a carry handle like a suitcase. We bought one for camping but use it for everything. Tom
