I got a Tom on Knox last year with a gun so I really want to try and take one with my bow this year.

I am taking both. I am still setting up my bow but I am going to try if I get it dialed in.

I will definitely be flinging arrows. Shoot for the neck and head for success.

I may try it after i get that first bird on the ground. I am not sure what the broadhead is called, but has anybody seen that one that is like four inches in diameter? Does anybody know if these are any good and do they fly stragiht?

If you truly look at the size of the vitals and compare to the neck, they are essentially the same size, only difference is you can see the neck.
Miss the neck and shoot at him again or another day, miss the sweet spot on the body and feed the coyotes, hit the sweet spot and maybe get the bird, some will still fly or run hit perfectly in the body.
If you are willing to limit yourself by weapon to harvest your bird, you should consider limiting your shots as well.
It is exciting, and humbling.....
I haven't shot a GG head, they can't fly very well IMO, shoot what you have confidence in.
