Great Weekend At Knox

My 11 year old duaghter killed her first bird Sat. morning at 7:10. It was the 3rd gobbler in 20 min. The first 2 were 6 yards and she was not pulling the trigger hard enough and she thought the gun was broke. The birds got nervous and left, called them back to 12 yards and she still did not shoot. The third bird came down the ridge gobbling his head off jumped up on a log 20 yards and struted for almost 30min before she smoked him. When she shot him a fourth bird was 50 yard beside us gobbling looking for a fight. The bird weighted 21lbs 9in beard 1in spur. We called in 3 jakes for my wife but they did not meet her standard. Ha Ha Sunday I filled my tag at 7:13 on a 4 or 5 year old who was gobbling like a 2 yr old. His buddy was lucky we were not at Campbell becuase he was hanging around 10 yards after I killed the first one. 22lbs 1in 3/16 spurs and 10in beard. Hope the pictures turn out.

Fireduck congrades to all your luck nothing like taken your kids hunting. What area did you have the luck in area 6 was dead one heard a couple birds all weekend could have killed a jake or a yote but no toms. Well almost a tom his girls took him Sat. a Sunday he just fallowed all day and did't make a peep.I think area 6 gets a lot of trafic.
