Close, but no cigar

Took my Daughter this morning . Heard several birds and had one close fairly close but never saw the bird. Hunted from a blind since it was her time hunting.......period! She fidgited enuf to made the blind choice a prudent one. Had i been alone, i woulda been packin out a bird. Someone shot up the hollow from us about 200yds that quited down the birds for a bit. Had one open up within 100yds and it sounded quite promising, but after 10 minutes, someone decided to try out thier new crow call & needless to say, it didn't work. By 9am, Tiffany was ready to head somewhere else so we left, but my truck began acting up and being 60 miles from home, opted to err on the side of caution & headed for home. Bummer. I believe we could have gotten on another bird. Here's a quick pic after the hunt!
