Anyone hear about this

I heard thru the grapevine several state troopers got busted in Muhlenberg county this past season for hunting over bait. I understand the C.O. confiscated thier guns and wrote them up. Just curious if they will in the end get the charges dropped because of being state troopers.

well there was a big duck hunting baited bust in lexington a few years back...if memory serves me well some of them that got caught were highly eclected officals and even some FBI agents they thru the book at em.....bad part none of them knew it was a baited area
the host tried to spice things up to make his hunt look better....Co's used scoops to check the bottom of the lake CORN CORN CORN
so ever since then i am leery when invited to dove shoots etc...

I just can't understand with the numbers of turkeys here in Muhlenberg why someone would have to result to baiting in order to get one unless they are real bad hunters. I for one hope if this is true they throw the book at them fine the crap out of them take thier guns, vehicles and hunting privileges away from these lawbreakers for a long time.
