Kentucky of course with a possibility in the works of some access in Tennessee and a remote possibility of hunting in Wyoming. You know, I killed 1 bird last year and called in 3 for other people. I think I enjoy calling and hunting with others more than I do trying to tag one solo.

Hopefully Jefferson County...depends on whether or not the builder's permits are approved. If so I may have a hard time hearing them gobble over the sound of the bulldozers. Might be public land for me this year.

Grayson for most of Kentucky season...will hit Ohio county in Kentucky if birds in Grayson are not doing it...Will hunt TN some...still wondering if AL is worth going to for a short public land hunt...but mostly I want to be hunting where there are blue bird days, the sounds of wipperwhils, bright spring colors, and gobbling turkeys...I really hope to be hunting where there are at least a few lonely toms hammering on a hardwoods ridge!

As far as fort campbell...I think it takes an act of God to get on it anymore....any suggestions on how to get drawn for fort campbell these days?

I hear ya on that one. I killed two last year, watched skin_dog kill one, called in one for my girlfriend, and another for one of my best friends. The excitement that came over me when my girlfriend shot her bird came close to equaling the emotions that I felt when my first bird hit the ground. I can't wait to get out and do the same this year.

Well, actually, he tried to hug me and I hit him in the nuts with my gunstock and he started crying. Same difference right?????

Well after much consideration the past year and reading numerous posts and looking at all the pictures posted, i have come up with the following plan for this years turkey hunting.

I am starting the season off in western Kentucky hunting with Ril, then stopping of at WBBP's, working my way over to Skindog's, then Turk2di's.
Next stop would be Multi's, Holedigger's, with a stop off at my old Friend from Lebanon, Dipits. If I haven't tagged out by then, I will finish up at Al's place.

:D

yes it is, and the hunter who killed two was 12 years old and took his first two birds with one shot on opening day. Do you still have a problem with him breaking the one bird per day limit? I don't see what it matters anyway, its no different than going the next day and killing a second bird.

I don't see what it matters anyway, its no different than going the next day and killing a second bird.Accidents happen and there is a difference in taking 2 a day when the limit is one. Even if it's an accident we shouldn't promote it. There really is no since geting defensive, we all make mistakes and have to live with em. Maybe try to teach your youth hunter a little more restraint, patience, or to better identify their backdrop. Good luck this season!

Casey Co.....BTW hardcore I'd be tickled to death for a youth hunter or MYSELF to take 2 birds with one shot:D. For legality purposes just call them in a different days if it was to accidently happen:)

congrats to the youth....i wasnt meaning to pull your chain man, just a friendly reminder...oh and just IMO.....the adult with the youth should have promoted a little patience to the kid....everyone needs to teach the youth ethical, respectful hunting practices.......and to obey the game laws

YES I SAID ETHICAL!!!....LOL
