Walker's Game Ear, Sport Ear ,etc.

Has anyone tried any of these hearing enhancment/ protection devices? They look neat and the sales info sounds good but how well do they really work?

My wife swears I've just got convenient hearing!!!

they work fine for sound amplification. they do make it difficult to determine direction. but again i got mine to hear my squirrel dogs tree, and i can't tell direction well without them either, so it may just be my problem. i have the walker quad 4 model. will take a hundred dollars or trade for a good 22 . rob

They work great. I would probably kill my dad out in the woods when we're turkey hunting if it werent for that. He doesnt have that good of hearing, and i have excellent hearing. It gets pretty annoying trying to tell him where a bird is. If he hears a bird, he has to listen to it for a minute to figure out what direction it is, but other than that, its great!
