Steve's team is having a good year, but his all time record at Iowa is not all that impressive.

Yeah, well how many National Championships do Iowa have? I think Steve has done a Great job at a school not known for greatness in basketball. Can be hard to recruit the best players sometimes when you don't have the legacy at your program. Alford IMO, would be the best fit, for IU. IU does not have the best facilities and equipment like some other programs, but what they do have is prestige. Bringing in Alford, IMO would bring back that PRESTIGE that has been lacking in the Davis ERA, and they would start getting those top recruits in INDIANA!

Steve's record at Iowa os VERY similar to Mike Davis's record at IU.

Hey willie,

Bruce Pearl would be great..not sure how he would fit in...hes kinda like a "salesman"...well ...I wont go there. Anyrate, he coached my roomates in college at USI. He was over at our apt frequently because my roomates had difficulty making it to class. Hes a motivator and a hell of a coach..look at his record at USI (D-2championship, runner up) and look what he did for Milwaukee(sp?), and UT. Hes a great coach..less the Il scandal.
