These LOHMAN turkey tail kits will hold a tail and 5 beards they only cost 13.00 dollars or the walnut board holds 6 beards for less than 20.00 dollars alot cheaper than mountingthe entire turkey.

I bought two this year for the two turkeys I killed. I got the kit at Outdoor World in Benton, Ky for $13.36. They are alot cheaper than the $320 I payed to get a turkey mounted two years ago. The sad part about it-- I might have killed a turkey this year bigger than the one I got mounted. Oh well, you live and learn.

I prefer the full mount. Nobody mounts every bird or deer they get but I always will mount an exceptional or a first. I mounted my son's first turkey last year and my wife's first this year. Who cares about the money, Ernie's bird will cost me $450 but it's well worth it. If I had gotten a bird this year I'd have spent another $450. If one of my son's 2 birds he got this year was a whopper I'd have spent another $450. Besides, they're cool conversation pieces and decorative units.

When I was only 3 days old,I worked down on the farm,
I used to do the milking it was on my mothers arm,
She raised me on a bottle, til I became a man,
And now I'm Drinking canned heat from an old tomato can.
