Looks like a good way to get your self shot. As much trouble as we have with trespassers on our property I'd be scared to use it even on private property. Tom

ive seen it on tv looks very impressive but also bulky and then theres the safety factor make sure you are 100% sure you wont cross another hunters path while carrying that thang...bring out the orange..
also as i was watchn that show with harold using that decoy i noticed he wasnt wearing any gloves as he was calling to a turkey that in the turkey woods is a NO NO walk away from someone let them be calling and see if to you the hand movement can be mistaken as a head of a turkey to a hunter ESP a novice
(now im quite sure the hunt was filmed on one of their private places )
but i would have thought they would have edited that part out or made sure he wore gloves..
i'll stick with my "Call Girl decoys" and carry them in my back-pack

I looks great but it would be too bulky for me. Foam or plastic decoys are the way to go if you are going to be doing alot of moving and repositioning.

Great lookin decoy and Im sure it works well in the right situation.I seldom use decoys so cant see gettin one but it does look good!I would like to put one out on a decoy mover and put a real fan on it and set it out on the side of the road somewhere and see how many yahoo's would do a drive by shooting on it,especially on peabody!:D

Buddy of mine used a full strut "stuffer" or turkey mount last year. It was wicked. The toms tore that thing to shreds.
I enjoy the run and gun style of turkey hunting, but I will adapt my style to whatever the situation calls for and sometimes during the season the situation calls for a setup and wait for one (gobbling luls, henned up toms, waiting at a roost site etc.). On those occasions, you can bet ya I'll be setting out a pretty boy after the results my buddies got with stuffers.

I watched that dvd from K & Hale and it's pretty impressive on how those tom's literally and I do mean literally come running to this "pretty boy" set up. They stomp the heck out of this decoy. I watched some of Primos dvd's from last year and they used a real full strut tom with excellent results. I agree with everyone on the bulky issue but I feel this would be perfect set up on early season birds where you have 50-100 birds tom's, hen's and jakes mixed in a pasture or cornfield where the tom's are strutting for dominance. They look over at your set up and you give them a guick gobble on the old shaker call and I do think the party would be on. That's just my opinion, but on all those birds that came to the set ups on the K & Hale dvd's weren't paid actors. I might add to the set up a few feeding hen's and maybe a jake about 20-30' away looking on....I know I'll have me a set of the "pretty boy" combo this year.....the won't spoil in the basement and should last for a long time. Think of them as an investment!:)
