use a x-bow, u won't have to draw it, and that's the hardest thing about killing them with a bow - getting the thing drawn. make sure its legal first, although i think it will be. go ahead and crucify me, i'm right ;)

There aint but 1 way to successfully take turkeys consistently with a bow & that is to get a quality ground blind. You can kill em without a blind but the key word is consistently & to do it you need a blind.
I like setting up were I know the birds may go when they fly down, preseason scouting is probably more important than any call or decoy you take to the woods, you can't figure em out every time as far as were there going to go but scouting will give you a good idea.
Running & gunning works good to but is a lot easier if you have 2 people(1 bow,1 shotgun),that way you have some help carrying some of the equipment(blinds etc.)that way if you get a bird to work & he doesn't come close enough for a shot with the bow your buddy may ge a chance at em or if ya miss you've got someone backing you up.Thes things here have helped me on a couple of archery gobblers & hope they help you to.....GOOD LUCK

Most bowhunters use a blind, and they aren't seen when they draw. Ryan, have you killed a lot of turkeys with the x-bow? sounds like the voice of experience.

As stated, a blins is highly recommended. Along with the blind you will need some decoys. There will be advise on broadheads, but what u use on deer will suffice. As with any hunting, scouting is a must, puttin u where a turkey wants 2b anyway. Get u a nice stool and enjoy!

If your are using a compound bow, get a good blind! You won't regret it!
