Anyone hunted MS for turkey? I have a chance of going down late March but not sure if it is recommended? Like all seasons in south the seasonal weather will have an effect...but just wanting to see if anyone has had any exp. in the state of MS for turkeys...Thanks

I hunted just North of Biloxi on the De Soto National Forest and you talk about TOUGH hunting. MISS has a lot of birds , but I had to do a lot of walking to find the birds cause I went the first of March. I would go the later part of season. If you go to the Northern part I think it's a bit better. More hardwoods and agricultural area's Good Luck!
