ez, I'm down with ya' on the left-handed thing. Plus, I shoot fingers.
I've noticed that if you go into an archery shop and say,"Hi, I'm looking for something for a left-handed finger shooter", they look at you funny.

Pingo, you asked about Hoyt. The top of the line Hoyt bows are the best built bows on the market. They use stainless steel where other companies use plain old carbon steel. They will spare nothing when it comes to building a very strong and durable bow. My experience with shooting them was pleasant as well.
Now for the bad, Uncle Dan's was a dealer for Hoyt for a couple a years and we had so much trouble out of them as far as when something did need service we finally got mad and dropped them. We had to write a letter to the company one time just to get a guy a different hand grip!! This was after they sent the wrong grip TWICE!! To be fair though I have talked to dealers who have had little trouble out of them. The ones that had trouble outweighed the ones that did not though. For good reliable service it's hard to beat Matthews, PSE, Pearson and Mcpherson, Parker and Martin. I cant comment on Bowtech, I've not heard anything bad about them though.
The truth is that nowadays it is hard to buy a bad bow. Just make sure you buy it from a pro shop and make sure it fits you.
Good Luck!!!!
