gettin ready

Went to pick out a spot for turkey camp the other day, and dropped off firewood. Decided to ride back on the property to check out a spot I plan to hunt and saw 8-10 nice longbeards headed to my spot next to a corn field :D. That was very satisfying to see, really put me in the mood to pitch a tent especially with this weather. Have'nt got to get out much lately but when I have I've seen longbeards. Is anyone else seeing many birds ?

I saw about 10 medium beards yesterday.........unfortunately, they were on Lab's property....:rolleyes:

They must have been about to enter the woods, cause if they were in the woods, you could have never seen them.:D

I saw 5 nice longbeards last weekend in a field next to my hunting lease. They ran in the woods on my lease though because my dad and i were on our 4 wheelers. We have a nice chufa plot out, and we disced the edge of it and the chufa is visible; but no turkeys have found it yet. I know they will in the spring when they start moving all over the fields, but i would like for them to find it now. What could i do to help them find it?
