Well, there you have it. Although the scientific data did not support their conclusions, they made their narrow-minded recommendations anyway. I wonder if they still have witch trials in Oregon? Makes you wonder how many fish and wildlife regs in the various states have more to do with superstition, misguided tradition, or downright ignorance than with scientific study.

Thanks for the informative read. Of interest to me was the mention of impact of muzzleloading in what I inferred as a negative tone, almost as though Oregon F& W Dept wanted folks to muzzleload hunt but didn't want them to be successful. Thank goodness the KDFWR not only supports hunter success but promotes the opportunities for hunters to be successful.
