I took these pics here in Lexington today. Does anyone recognize this place? We actually do have a few places to get outdoors right here in the city. Ya believe that? :D

I see somebody's split-level in the background.:( But even in suburban areas, a little running water is nice to see and hear.:)

I saw 5 deer in the Southpoint subdivision on the way to church this morning. There are still a few deer running around Lexington. I may have to start hunting in my back yard !!!! LOL

Nope! Its not MConell Springs. Nice try though.
I'll give this a day or two and then I'll post the answer if nobody recognizes the place.

Its a Konica Minolita. The model is a Dimage Z10 and its a 3.2 mega pixel. It only cost about 200 bucks when I bought it a few months ago.

Doemaster,
Really clear, sharp photos. Congratulations. Are you shrinking your images to get them to fit? My Fuji 2.2 takes really good pictures, but when I use MSEditor to shrink to fit, I start losing all my image detail and clarity. What am I doing wrong?

Im not shrinking the images myself. I use photo bucket and it automatically shrinks images to fit. Have you ever tried Photobucket?

photobucket user here as well, i think its awesome and WAYY easy to use
You've got me too. I've lived here all my life and I don't know where else that would be unless it's out somewhere around Jacks creek or eastern and north eastern Fayette Co. I have fished about every fishy place in Lexington over the years, but I can't tell exactly where that is from the photos you've posted.

I doubt it's any good anyways or he wouldn't show us pictures.:D I don't do much fishing in Lexington anymore. Back 15 years ago or so you could just go to any place on Elkhorn or Hickman and jump in and wade. Now you have to walk through someones backyard to get there and it really pisses people off. I used to wade Elkhorn probably 50 times a summer, but the last time I was out there some guy jumped down my throat for trying to catch "his" fish. Hey Doemaster, I guess I could use a new place to fish in town here, how bout it?:D

Well we have a couple of winners! It is Hickmans Creek at Veterans park.
I fished the heck out of that place a a couple of years ago. I never caught the first fish that weighed over 2 pounds. But you can alway go there and catch bluegill and such. When I was taking these pics I saw a guy fishing and he was telling me that he has tons of luck there. He said it was not uncommon for him to pull Largemouth that weighed in the 5 pound range out of there during the summer. HE Must be a heck of a lot better fisherman than me! :D I might have to give that ole Creek a try again soon!
I know where that is, but I've never fished it. I have a police scanner and it seems that once a week the police get a report of guns being fired there. I guess it is right on the Jessamine Co. line, so they get out there and can't do a damn thing about it.. It's pretty funny, because the cops have to get out there and check it out, but they know the routine. Big deer back in there too.

Guns fired at Veteran park???
The area of Hickmans Creek where I took those pics is not near the Jessamine County Line. Its actually about a 2 minute drive from the Tates Creak/Man-o-War intersection.

Well, I am not familiar with the park itself, but the Jessamine Co. line can't be too far away.. I'll have to look at a map and see where the line is.

Now if you can find a spot to hunt on up the creek in Jessamine Co.:D I know a couple of guys that used to murder the ducks on up the creek by the water treatment plant, that might have been some of the shots that people were hearing.:D
I used to murder doves where the Burger King sits at MOW and Saron Dr. Mrs. Coons owned all that property.

Its a great place to run your dog, especially in the winter when the park is almost vacant.
You can use the creek for water work and blinds, and the soccer fields works great for pile work.
If you cross the creek just below the elementary school, there is a tree lined logging road. Its ideal for teaching a young dog to take a line. The dog has no choice but to take a long straight line.
