Well, we went to watch our oldest, get married, in Gatlinburg Tenn. Yesterday.
Something, I'm very happy to not have to do again! (two sons left)
The Ceremony was held at the Park Vista Hotel downtown, as was the reception; he's a really good guy(Navy which is obvious); I only hope them both the very best of all things!
That is our youngest on the left(ringbearer) and the groom's nephew on the right(also ringbearer).
Here is a Picture for anyone that would like to see:(sorry it's rather large pic)

Thank you very much!
He's ( I think this is correct, been kind of a long couple of days):D
He's an E3 at the moment(think he's up for promotion though pretty soon).....he's a fireman/electrician IIRC (some of it he can't talk about for obvious reasons....I'll just leave it "there") :D

Maxcam, thank you, ( I do know how to "shrink it", just haven't had the time with several pictures to take care of and email etc.etc.etc.), and I didn't even think about the size being too busy..... :)

I just got off the phone with her, and that made her so happy!!
They're getting "settled in", their house now, so things are a bit "hectic".....to say the least...

Ace.......tell them congratulations and she looked beautiful .:)
Just some friendly advice.... dont worry to much about them ...even though I know you will. I'm a Navy brat myself (father was in for 30 years) its a close nit family and they look after each other very well. Still friends with some of the families we met at different bases scattered all over the place...they seemed like my second family and they would go out of their way for each other to make sure everything was taken care of. They will do just fine.

Thanks JD; I'll do my best not to, and I know you're very correct in the "second family", I have several ex-Navy(retired) in my family as well. They've dated for a couple of years, and they met while he worked with my wife, so it's not like we don't know him that well.. :D
His parents are both Ex-Navy also.
He's spent many hours here, and honestly he was already pretty much a part of the family anyway, so it's now official, is the only real difference.
The wedding itself was harder than I even expected, but once I got over that, things are fine, and I wish them the very best in their life together... They're trying to get settled in their new home in SC; should be there for a couple of years; then will probably "move on" to the next station. At least she'll get to travel plenty while she is still young enough to really enjoy it!

How about blaze orange? :D I'm thinking instead of the camo tux, maybe I will wear my tam and a kilt. It would be an interesting wedding, both bride and groom wearing dresses. :D

I would prefer if you didn't wear a kilt and tam on our wedding day. You can save it for Halloween. I wouldn't wear blaze orange either, but the camo wedding dress might be interesting...I am still searching for just the right dress though. :)

No how bout rattle snake boots, a kilt with Blaze Orange shirt, camo jacket and a hat that I saw this one guy working at Wal Mart wearing. It was green and it had fake leaves and bark and rats and snakes hanging from it. Man you'd look good. And leggy's dress should be dark brown.
