How are you all planning on bringing in the New Year? I am lucky because I will be spending it with a loved one. I hope that everyone gets that chance and that it will be a safe and joyful time. :)

I will be working my second job
I think I'm going to sit at home, cook a steak, and drink some Woodford with a couple of buddies and the old lady. I figure I have lived thru enough wild parties on New Years and wicked hang overs the next day that I really don't need to do it anymore. I don't even want to get out on the roads because it's amature night and I don't need another run in with a drunk driver. I have had too many in the past and I have been extremely lucky to have survived it soooooooo I'll be at home if anyone wants to come to a not-so-happening party in Lexington!

New Years Eve........Well me and my wife have the house to ouselves till Monday. Just sent my daughter off yesterday with the Calloway Co. High Band ....their getting to march in the Citrus Bowl Parade and also a parade at Disney. They will be there for the fireworks at Disney ..New Years Eve.
She has called us twice today and sound like their having a blast. I think it will be something to remember for all the kids. Now for me and her mom...were worried as usual but its been awhile since we had a few quiet evenings together...we will make the best of it.:D

JD first I'll say I do remember how hard that is to do, but believe me when I say they grow up WAY too quickly!

Woodford????? I'll be there!!!!!! :D :D :D
I will be at WBBP's place all weekend for the youth hunt. Although, after getting up early to take one of the kids hunting for the morning hunt, going to my girlfriend's for lunch, and them getting back to take a kid hunting that afternoon, my butt will probably not see the ball drop.
Gotta work Sat, Sun and Mon. Me and Lil GSP might head chop a few geese before work Sun morning though!:D

I am guessing that I will be asleep way before the ball drops. I asked the wife if we were doing anything and I believe that she has reached the age where she will be fast asleep also. I will take in a few ballgames over the weekend, cook some beans and maybe step out on the edge and have a beer or two, but to get out in traffic in lexington on 12/31/05 after 11p.m., no thanks, it will be like bumper cars in pigeon forge....You all be careful..

Congratulations on 18 years of marriage! Maybe a nice meal at a restaurant, some soft music and a little slow dancing in the living room, a dozen roses, a few tender words and kisses... make the most of the peace and quiet, my friend. :)

Oh well, I ain't exactly John Travolta either so I know what you mean. Last time I danced I squashed one of Leggy's feet and she got to laughing so hard we had to stop. :D
