Why Coyotes?

Why do you hunt coyotes, Is there something special about it. Everyone has there own reasons, whats yours?

I became interested when all of the rabbit & quail started getting scarce on all the farms we hunted on. We continually found yote scat everywhere filled with rabbit fur and feathers. What finally put me on their trail was every morning going to my deer stand in Butler co., yotes would growl and bark at me just a few yards from me in the darkness. This past season was the worst ever. I also seen more than I ever have while in the stand. Now everytime I hunt for'em, my respect for their intelligence & survival instincts grows more everytime. Not only are they a challenge,(more than deer or turkey to me),but are alot of fun. I love to look at them in the distance,admiring their wolf-like beauty in the morning sun as I anticapate their next move. I just wish they smelled alot better when you throw'em in the back of your truck. HA!
