LBL Quota Hunt

was needing to know if the dept. does the LBL Quota Hunt, and if so has the dates been set for it, was needing to plan some vacation time for this coming year, and was wanting to apply for it. thanks in advance, for any info.

The LBL sets their own date for the quota hunt -- with the approval of KDFWR, of course. The date varies from year to year. This past year they only had one hunt (in KY, other than the youth hunt) and I believe it was the weekend after Thanksgiving. (I assume you are talking about the deer hunt -- the deadline for the turkey quotas is today for hunts April 9-10 and 13-14.) Check their website, www.lbl.org and click on the orange hunters cap.
