has anyone tried the 50 gr. sierra blitzkings from a 223 rem. on coyotes?

Probably make a big hole, if you want to save the hides, you'll want something less explosive.

my thought was that the bullet would enter ad come appart leaving no exit wound, maybe i am wrong. I know on very small game they just explode but just wondered if anyone actually tried on coyote?

also has anyone ever tried the .224 cal 52gr. match king on coyote?

If you're shooting a 1-9 twist barrel in the .223, try this load.

23.0 gr. Accurate Arms AA 2230-C
68 gr. Hornady Match BTHP
Winchester SMR primer

This load duplicates the Black Hills Load of the same bullet weight and is FLAT LETHAL on 'yotes. Doesn't do a lotta damage to the pelt, but will flatten the best 'yotes in a hurry! Buddy o' mine also has harvested a few deer with this load with surprising results as well!
