Anybody see the blue-white scrimmage the other day? I had perfect seats. Front row, on the floor, center court. Let me go ahead and say that rondo and sparks both played phenomanally. Not to mention some much improved center play from Lukasz Obrzut. He's gonna be a significant contributor this year at the backup big man spot. Any other thoughts?

I don't put too much stock into a public scrimage.. It's geared mored towards putting on an offensive show rather than emphasizing defensive prowess.

The word on the street is that Obrzut worked his butt off over the summer with Narz Mohammad of the Spurs. They said he opted to stay here and work on his game rather than go back to his country and be with his family. Last I heard he had supposedly put on lots of muscle and greatly improved his game. All I can say is I HOPE SO. We will certainly need him, especially in the early season while Morris is shining shoes on the bench.

We also need Perry and Thomas to step up. They slacked a bit last year IMO, so I hope they come to play this season. That, and I pray that Bradley gets much more PT. I take some heat on it, but I think Bradley is the most gifted offensive player we have. His defense needs some work, but that wasn't the problem last year. WE NEED OFFENSE!:D

bradley isn't the most gifted offensive player we have (think Joe Crawford), but he is by far the most underrated player on the team. Woo did look a lot bigger. He gained size and strength, threw Shagari and Carter all over the place.

There's another bright spot. This Carter kid shows a ton of potential. He's a 7 footer with a vertical and some intelligence. Pretty good jump shot too. While the game may have been a public scrimmage, they were serious. Tubby stopped practice a couple times to fully explain his defense, and they seemed to want to move the ball a lot more than they have in the past (please, please do this tubby if you're reading)

How did the transfer do? I'm hoping we've got a decent forward in him.

Was Woo playing facing the basket or did he post up a lot? I thought he usually looked pretty good when he could face the basket, but he should go a bit deeper in the paint to utilize those skills.

Oh, you are so right.....at least last year. Bradley is not only extremely gifted, but extremely underrated.
