Since you asked...
I like Beretta, but I want walnut and blue. Pricey yes, but Berettas perform. The synthetic just doesn't do a good gun justice.

You DID ask...:)

Bought a 3" 391 for my fiance and I, she really likes it. I think you are looking at a fine shotgun. If you know someone who has one ask to shoot it and see if it fits you well. Good-luck, Jarhead.

I had a beretta 390 3" mag and liked it. I ended up selling it though and bought the Franchi 3 1/2" accushot for turkey and such and absolutly love it!!

Skeeter, I believe that if this is going to be a multi-use shotgun you will have better luck and enjoy the 391 more. Not that the 11-87 isn't a fine shotgun but did have a couple of buddies that had them and now they're shooting somethingelse mainly due to cycling problems even with heavy 2 3/4" shells.

If you're going to use it duck/goose hunting you may want to reconsider. I've had a lot of people tell me that they freeze up in cold weather. Just something to think about.
