I'm from Danville, Kentucky, but the military brought me to Okinawa, Japan. I have been here for 15 years. Almost every year I spend alot of time and money on airfare just to get in the woods on opening day of gun season. I have my pride, so I don't like shooting little spikes or bambi. Over the past 5 years I haven't had much luck. I also noticed that there aren't many shots being fired throughout opening day. Maybe my ears are going bad! When I get in the woods, I usually stay there the entire week that I have to hunt. Have I lost my touch after harvesting deer seven years in a row?
