One of you has been deleting me this morning. I first thought I made a mistake and didn't submit a post. I know i did the second time, because Art responded to it.
At least email me next time if you don't think something is not appropriate, and I'll edit out. Deleting whole thread is not good business. Makes the site look bad. Especially when the post was in no way offensive.
Thanks!

First off, I deleted one of them (the one with the Tweetie picture) because it wasn't appropriate. Yeah, deletion of a picture of a cartoon character with a sexual slant (which was the entire post BTW) really looks bad on the site and is not offensive to some members.
The other post in question, I have no idea what you're talking about unless it was caught up in the other post I've deleted this morning that had pornagraphic material in it. One of the other mods may have yanked it or it could have been in a thread that was deleted by the originator.
Next time I need to take care of something on the site I'll run it by you first... how's that? ;)
The moderators reserve the right to remove questionable content at any time and don't owe anyone an explanation. We don't go around doing it just for kicks and giggles.

I have to say, I think the mods do pretty good on this site. i actually saw the pornographic material this morning and I'm glad that its gone. That type of crap looks bad on the site as a whole.
Ever notice the only people that complain about the mods are the ones that usually break the rules?

get a clue! I've never broken rules, and in fact, I was probably one of the first to comply with the "no urls in the signature line". I certainly posted no porn.

I posted the same picture twice because I thought I messed up the first time and didn't submit it. Quack, if you didn't like the picture, you could have disabled the link. Deleting whole threads is not a good practice. That's the point. I thought it was funny and certainly not offensive. Sorry you did. A PM or an email would be good in the future. Thanks.

There was only one post when I got to it and there was no link. The picture was the only thing in the body of the post.
The picture showed up right in the body of the post and there was also no reply to it. Art may have deleted his own reply before I got to it though.
Either it didn't post the first time or someone else deleted it too.
When I start getting paid to do this for a living, then I will devote more time to sending out explanations to all the people that may have a post edited or deleted for content every time I have to do it.
You guys have no idea how much time we burn every day sifting through all this stuff.
You're not the one that posted the other pornographic material I mentioned. They are no longer with the site. ;)
BTW: whether I find a post personally offensive or not is immaterial. The moderators jobs are to take care of posts that are potentially offensive to the rest of the membership of this site.
