If so, just wondering what you have found to be the best bullet (accuracy and take-down power) for this rifle. Please give brand and bullet description. Thanks!

Have one I bought in 1967. Have used off-the-shelf 150 grain, Remington and Winchester. Hold it on the vitals and get ready to gut.

Nobody can tell you what your rifle likes. Buy a box of each and spend some bench time finding what performs best for you.

Remington 150 Grain Core-lok...I agree with fairplay...Every member of my Family has taken deer with that gun. I wouldnt trade that gun for any other.....It is the only thing I own that would cause a fight if I were to die.:( And I have made it clear where it goes and that is the only item that I have done so. Some times I think you could just sit it out in the woods and come back and there would be a dead deer there:D

I use an ADL with iron sights. Mine shoots just about any 150 or 180 gr. round well. I like Nosler partitions and Core-Lokt bullets.
