guys at about 1100 today my uncle called me and said that they had the 06 dogde viper srt 10 back out at his plant and that i could come out and look at it. little did i know what would happen next. i got there and that thing was freakin awesome. it was the baddest car ive ever seen. i've got pics im gonna send to get posted. but anyways back to the car. we were all lookin at it when my uncle told the guy that he knew someone that was dying to ride in it. he looked at me and said hop in. so i got right in and buckled up. we couldnt get it out on the main road cause the cops were waitin for him today. after he takeing my uncle down the road at over 160 mph and he didnt get out of 4th gear. they did that in less then 1/2 mile no joke. so we took a lil back road on my trip. man was it sweet. through 1st and 2nd all we did is wheel hop and smoke tires with all 550 ponies and 505 ft/lbs of torque trying to dig in. then it caught traction and threw me hard against the seat. talkin about a serious g-force. so then i looked over at the speedo and we were doin 120 and still in 2nd gear. then the shift into 3 was awesome we went from doin 120 at redline in 2nd to don 140 in less then 1.5 seconds. we could have gotten faster but we ran out of road. so then he slows down backs up and gives it all its got and i know we did 0-60 in less then 4 seconds. it was the fastest most powerful car i have ever rode in. it was awesome. we got back and we were talkin and they are gonna crush this car because it has factory defects. he didnt say what kind but man it about killed me to hear him say he was gonna crush it. the more we talked the more i learned about this beast. he said on the interstate on the way down here he hit 220 before he shifted into 6th. thats freakin floatin right there. he said all he saw was a blur. and to beat it all in this monster of car he got 25 miles to a gallon with 550 horses crankin out.he said up at the factory where hes from they take these factory defeactive vipers and put twin superchargers on them to play around with and its nothing to have one crank out 1200 to 1500 ponies at the wheels. thats monsterous right there now. it was an awesome day to say the least. and one ill never forget.
Brad
oh yeah i almost forgot the tires on the thing were 345/30/19. thats the widest tire ive ever seen. and this is coming from a guy who knows his stuff but possibly in 07 or 08 there will be a factory viper with 750 hp at the wheels to drive for the public. who know but i can only imagine what that one is like.

trust me

Was that thing red in color, by chance? i saw my first one the other day on the interstate, and it was red. Lots of traffic, so he was doing the speed limit or thereabouts.

Beautiful piece of ingenuity for sure, but what do you do with it? Cops want let you run it, can't use it off road for hunting, ain't big enough for the "nasty", don't come too cheap. What's it for?

Well, I think if you look at the vehicle your wife drives you might answer your own question.
