How about a reloading thread?

Great Idea, I have considered suggesting that myself. There are some reloading posts on the "modern firearms" thread but it is very spread out with all the other topics.

We asked for it a year or so ago. Uncle Lee's probably doesn't make a lot of money off this website, since it's just a friendly service they provide. They aren't putting a lot of emphasis on this site. Maybe they are afraid of liability from some moron blowing his head off with a load he got from this site.

I've been reading a lot on the michigan based web-site just like this one and they kind of imply to people selling items on the site that if they use their site to sell the product a portion should be donated back to the site for their free advertising. This may be something to invite people to do in order to improve the site.

I'm glad they pay for the server and bandwidth. There's really not a lot of "improving" that can be done to the software. More forums could be made but then it spreads your resources out. The forum boards that have a million different forums don't get much traffic in any particular one and they all still get topics posted all over that may not pertain to that particular forum. It happens here with no more than we have now.
The guy that keeps this thing afloat and has the ability to make changes does it in his spare time.
Not really sure of Uncle Lee's stand on sharing load recipes. I would suggest that you could start a reloading thread and just post to it. It could even be made a sticky. Then when someone wanted to look for a particular load they could just search in that one thread under caliber.
I believe from your original post you were actually asking for a forum rather than a thread.
