View Full Version : Bow shoots near or around Morehead KY

Is any one is from the Rowan County area or in a hour drive or so from it, and you know of any clubs or shops that are holding shoots please let me know. Thanks for any help.

I don't know of any in the "vicinity" of Morehead. However, Northeast KY Fish and Game Club in Ashland has an indoor archery range, a 3D range, a rifle range and a super nice clubhouse. I am a new member of the club. The club seems to be a well established, managed and respectable place. The cost for family membership is only $35.

About how far is Ashland from Morehead. And do you have their phone number? If so would you be so kind as to post it so I could give them a call. Thanks

Ashland is about 55 miles - about an hour drive. Just get on I 64 East and you can't miss it. Northeast KY fish and Game club is off the Cannonsburg/ Ashland exit. Make a right and I believe it's the first road on your right. Follow this road for about a mile and the club's driveway is on the left.

East KY Archery, a division of Dewy Lake Fish & Game will be starting our 3-D season on March 17th, this at Jenny Wiley State Park near Prestonsburg located on Stratton Branch. We have a good 30 target course being setup in the mountains and a few in the flat, plenty of classes for compound or traditional shooters. Trophies awarded.
