Anyone shot or purchased this revolver? Any custom loads etc? Looks pretty enticing especially since its compatable with 45, and 454 loads, and both are considered "lighter" loads:D . 8 1/2"bbl that can propel a load 2300+..thats what I am talking about! Hope by posting the pic it doesnt violate any law, or rules of this board. If so, delete as needed.

I'd love to get that to go with the S&W 500 I have. The 500 shoots nice. They've definately worked out the recoil issue. If I wind up gettin' ahold of one, I'll let ya know.

The compensator is interchangeble as well..to shoot both lead and jacketed loads.

Lyman,

Haven't had one in my hands but have read a lot about 'em and saw a good piece on the Outdoor Channel recently about the .460. Recoil is stated to be somewhat less than the .500 S&W and I might be mistaken, but I thought the S&W rep stated that velocities of close to 2500 fps (?!) were obtainable. The rep said on the show that it was designed as a pistol one could shoot point to 250 yards with little to no holdover. As for ammo, was stated to have factory fodder for ANYTHING on the North American continent avilable off the shelf. Hope I shed some light for ya!
