View Full Version : Pay for dove hunting?
I am looking for someplace to hunt doves in Northern Ky that would actually have some hunting. The state WMA's up here plant crops for dove but in the years past it has been pathetic. So now I am looking for pay to hunt dove places with in 1 hour drive of Florence. Any suggestions appreciated.

one good place to hunt doves is tobacco fields once the farmers have cut/housed their tobacco they usually put out wheat ride around looking for these places and in many cases as long as you dont go in with an army of hunters most will allow you to hunt....good luck

You might try Pheasant Ridge in Owenton,ky. This should be within an hour of you. I believe they put on a dove shoot. I hunted pheasant and quail here last winter and had an excellent time. They put on a good hunt. I'm not sure what there rates would be for a dove hunt. Look at Kybirdhunts.com Good luck!

There is an awesome shoot hosted by Delamere and Hopkins ( a wingshooting shop in Cinn) in Shelby Co., about an hour away from you. Its a little pricey, but i here its the best shoot in the state. i think it is limited to 20 shooters, and they have a catered meal, open bar with bartender, a live bluegrass band, professional dog handlers, etc... really first class.
you can try them to see if they have any spots open...513-871-3474
