We have been to Nolin for 3 nights and Cumberland for 2 nights so far. But still have trips planned for Taylorsville in Sept. and back to Cumberland in Oct.

We've not had a chance to get out this year, but the best time of the year is yet to come.

If any of you are tent camping, try a Therm-a-Rest, they're great. They fold up into nothing and are very light. They don't look like much but you can blow them up pretty firm, keeps you off the ground and warm. I used to use an inflatable mattress but it's just big, heavy, bulky, clumsy, and they don't provide much support, I think they're worse than a waterbed.

As for me, the only camping trip I've taken is up at Frisco Colorado at Peak One at over 9,000 feet, was pretty cool. The end of July and it's in the 30's, which was obviously a welcome break.

I took my 5-year-old son camping about a quarter mile behind our house one night last week and that was it for me this year. Had a great time though. :)
