Does anyone know of a peep sight that always lines up and doesn't require that darned little rubber tubing that always seems to be breaking?I'm using a release if that makes any difference.

Just bought one and had it put on at D and G Archery in Rochester. I love it.

its not your peep its string rotation if your shooting a new bow or string give it time to settle if not and you are shooting a loop a dab of super glue to your loop will cure your problem just make sure to turn your loop to where your peep lines up.

may have misunderstood your question because i dont know what peep you are shooting i shoot a super peep i can change the diameter of my peep or shoot a clarifier for 3d or spots but they make alot of em that dont require that tube i hate that stuff..

Use a tell-tail nok set, and align it with the peep. They also hold your nock on the string better than most nock sets.

buy a quality string/cable system (such as Winner's Choice)...after 20 shots or so you will have a string that is set and will not creep.

ding ding ding ding ding ding...ladies and gentlemen we have a winner...please sir, could you come up here, yes you, the gentleman from ficherville...a good string will do more for you than just peep rotation, but one that will not stretch during a season, or stretch if you leave it in a car too long is a definate plus. shooting one on a warm day and having string or buss cable stretch is very troublesome.

now for the problem at hand, as most of you know, if a peepsight is not turning correctly, you will need a bowpress to twist the string and get it where it will. after you have shot the bow for a while, even on a stretched string, it may require additional twisting. another good reason to start shooting several months prior to the season....the bungy cord or black rubber tubing works. it is noisy on some bows, quiet on others. i will refer any questions on that to the big blue whale theory. i have been around bow shops for many years, and archery in general even longer. the stories about folks getting eyes put out are most likely true, but i have never witnessed an injury that severe....what i have seen are some dandy welts, and bruises from the old style peg with adhesive backing coming off of the limb, to the rubber tubing stinging you in the face. i will fight the turning peep sight everytime to aviod getting shot in the face by my own bow.
