Ah, the Rubix cube, from messed up to complete in 58 seconds.

I popped mine apart with a screwdriver.

Another few off the top of my head (and I'm guilty of all of em)::

You can remember when a Commodore 64 was a high end super computer.

You think Tommy Tutone's "867-5309" is the coolest song ever recorded.

You know all the words to "I'm Just a Bill" and "Three is a Magic Number".

You can remember when Prince was a weird, kinda creepy little dude who made killer music, instead of just a weird, kinda creepy little dude.

You watched SuperFly Snuka and the Fabulous Freebirds on T.B.S.

You were interested in what Luke and Laura were up to on the soaps.

You wore out a copy of Foreigner's "Four" album. On 8 track.

You played with butterfly knives in the gym at high school during break.

Your high school had a smoking section.

You had a T shirt that said "Up your nose with a rubber hose."

Your beer of choice was Coors Extra Gold (if you had money).

You thought the lead singer of Judas Priest was just a tough biker dude - it never occurred to you that he was actually a homosexual bondage queen. (Really - who knew?)

You wore blisters on your thumbs trying to rescue the princess.

You must have "solved" it the "easy way" SPRAY PAINT ( I know I did) :D :D :D

But I didn't "grow up" then, by March 3 1982(to be precise) I was married, but most of these things I remember all too well, twas a "different time" that's for sure! ;)

Dang! Somebody already beat me to Skipper Ryle. Glenn Ryle also did bowling for dollars and the weather report. He was a black belt in some kind of martial arts and a Korean war veteran with two purple hearts.

Hows about Tony Sands doing the weather report before they had dopplers and stuff. On Christmas eve he had some radar setup that had to be East German war surplus. He would track a UFO coming over the US from Alaska(Santa Claus).

Uncle Al and Captain Wendy are leading the chicken dance at Octoberfest this weekend. I didn't even know they were still kicking.

How about Kentucky Afield when it was on Sunday morning? Hope Carlson and some other old guy would give fishing reports for all of Kentucky's lakes.

TV used to go off after the news. Just go blank until in the morning about 6 o'clock when some farm report or something would come on. The Cool Ghoul would be on until 1 or 2 o'clock on Saturday nights. Then Bob Shreeve came along playing cheesey movies all night on Saturday night. He would get pretty pickled some nights drinking Hudepohl beer. The set had a keg tapped for him to do commercials with.

The 80's??? I was busy working two jobs and going to college. Plus my wife and I let a fun and inexpensive hobby get out of hand. Now I'm enduring teen agers...:D

there you go trust me, GSP has taken care of the broadhead situation. if i am not mistaken, there may be a package of those at my local shop.....i shot several deer with those, they were leaps and bounds beyond the bear razorhead....they didnt bounce off of the deer, they actually penetrated.....aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the good ole days, round wheel bows, shooting with fingers, brass sight pins the size of golf balls, beaver balls string silencers.......the dark ages......

rutnbuck, i grew up in frankfort, and yes i remember the cool gool....kind of a wolfman jack and happy the clown mix as i remember.....maybe balding with a mullet and really dark eye shadow? we had cable tv, and our local cable handled that channel for some odd reason.

how about double cola, the first twist off caps on cola in general? the new glass bottles, the end of the returnable bottle....no more pull off tabs on cans, mickey mouse reruns, popeye, the roadrunner show, grape ape, flintstones, lonnie anderson, trans am and camaro changed body style, smokey and the banditXXXXVVIIILLIIVVXXXXXXLLLIIII, and all those halloween movies.......home box office, espn
