Is there anything I should know about the Stealth Cam game camera before I put it out? Does anyone have one of these cameras?
Thanks.................

Take a good look at it, because it's just a matter of time before someone else will have it. Their fun as hell to play with, but too expensive to leave on a tree for some asshole to steal. I hope you have better luck then me and most of the people I know that have put them out.

Put it on a 4x4 post, set it in concrete, wrap chain linked fence around the post, build a box on the post for the camera to set in, and put some big time locks on it. This may slow them down some.

Guy's, I don't know what else to do but put it out and hope they don't find it. But, if they do.... they better hope I don't find out who got it. The farm is over 3,500 acres and I hope, I can find a safe place for it.

I don't have that brand. I just bought 2 new cameras for a total of 14 that we've used on our farms for the past 5 years. We run them all year, in the spring and summer months we have them covering the salt/mineral licks to help us with our census of the deer herd then in late Aug. we move them to trails, beeding areas, etc to do scouting. We haven't lost one camera because people around here know we patrol the farms and will call the sheriff everytime we see someones truck on the place.
There's one tip I learned on here. After you set up your camera and everytime you change your film take a picture of a homemade sign saying, " If you are developing this film for anyone other than (your name) , then this camrea has been stolen, please call....."
