I am planning on bow hunting turkeys this fall and would like to build a nice ground blind. I harvested my biggest turkey ever this year with a muzzleloader out of my spring blind, however, while attempting to take my second bird with a bow out of the same blind I got busted big time. So I patterned the turkeys last year during the fall, which was completely different from the spring patterns. So I know where I want it but I am not sure as to how to build a ground blind specifically for bow hunting. I have some of the military camo netting that is green/ green and brown that is waterproof that is now practically impossible to find. Also some 3D cloth blind material. And as a last resort 2 green Army shelter halves that should work as well. Typically I find a large tree and set up some large sticks driven into the ground around the tree so as to have a complete circle and hang the camo on it. This usually gives great shooting lanes. A 5 gallon bucket for a seat and that is about as far as I go. But as I stated before it wasn't good enough for a bow. Do I need a top so as to break up the outline and movement of the bow? If so how do I make it? That is the only thing that I can think of doing. I just don't want to pay $100 for a camo tent blind. Any suggestions appreciated.

Sell all that camo your talking about and you will have enough money to buy a blind!
