Would any of you guys and gals, be interested in getting together and shooting some clays? Would be a great time to put some faces with the names I see on a daily basis. I know bow is a few weeks away, but maybe we can get together and shoot, maybe a BBQ. I love to shoot, but none of my hunting buds have any interest in it. Just a thought. I have a thrower, and IM sure some of you guys do too. Would be great practice before dove season too!

been a while since i shot any clays, but i have been wanting to. called Ft Knox the other day to check on it and there is no way i would give up the cash to them for what they offer. do you have a place to shoot, if so drop me a line and im sure we can get something going.

i also have a clay thrower. there is a public trap range up here at llyods wma. i would love to get togeather my house is not to far from the range. plus we could have the barbacue up at the grant county park. ( this is all within 2 miles of the range ) if we could get enough members togeather it could be possible

Depending on when and where I would be interested. I have built a small trailer that has four throwers mounted to it.

well troz lives right down the road from me. so thats tajen care of. i also think that we need to get more members into it. i would say at least 15-20. and then everyone could picth in and go to wally-world in dry ridge and get clays. i think that they are $3.99 per 90

I think we can get one going! All we need is for someone to step up with a date, and time. I dont own a farm, if I did, then we could just shoot there. any suggestions?

Count me in on this! I'm down in Radcliff, but am willing to drive a little. I have a buddy or two that would probably come too. I've got a mount that allows me to put a thrower in my receiver hitch. Also, I've got about 5 1/2 boxes of pigeons in the garage right now!!! Sounds like all we need is a time/ place!

An offer to think about.

The Blue Grass Sportsman's League (close to Lexington) has a 100 bird sporting clay range, 2 skeet ranges, a wobble trap and 6 trap houses. It is open on Sundays, it would just cost the price of each round. Skeet is $5, SC I can not quote, I have not shot it in a while.
I can make the arangements for a cookout and shooting if interested. Just an offer if you don't want to fool with the "work" involved in setting up a shoot.

that is a good idea because it is centrally located. but i think everyone just about agrees on wanting to keep it public that way we dont have to get an exact number. and that way people could come and go as they please. but if you know of a public trap range around lexington throw it out there. i would like to keep it more northernly-centrally located because the last cook out was to far of a drive for some of us up here. and this would give the guys up here a fair chance to get have togeather. imo

Lloyds has a trap and 3 skeet ranges. I believe it's $3.25 per round and open shooting is Wednesday and Friday evenings and Sunday starting at noon.

Time/date and you can count me in either way.

Bluegrass is open to the public, would serve the same. People could come and go. Sounds like we have enough throwers to do it ourselves if we could find a place.

Yeah, I think we have more than enough throwers to do it ourselves......
