I have a Colt AR15/223, with a tasco 6-24x42 scope mounted on it, but when I first mounted it, I mounted the scope too far forward, approx 1/2". so now when I mount the gun, I have to lean towards the scope to get the right view. Can anyone tell me how approx how much It would throw it off to move it aft 1/2"? Would I still be on the paper @ 100 yards? Thanks for your imput!

I don't know how much it would be off, don't know if anyone could say for sure, but I am guessing you will have to re-zero. Not that big a deal. That's a heck of a high powered scope for an AR - you must be busting groundhogs with it.
I would guess you to still be on paper, probably still in the black. As AUK said, probably a slight ZERO adjust and you are there.
