anyone else making the trek to the mecca of stock car racing? i'm goin 2 for 2 this year. i normally only go to the spring race but wifey says 'lets go to the nite race again!' , i say ummmmmm OK!!

Hard race to miss, the night race is a blast. A bit of a nightmare lodging wise, but without a doubt worth it.

I'll be heading down early Saturday morning (Friday Night). We go to the spring Bristol race and the fall Atlanta race every year. This will be my first trip to the night race. Oh yea, so you can find me, I'll be the one dressed in all Orange! GO TONY. ;)

Man I regret not going, but I won't miss either next year! We are thinking on going to Atlanta next year. Thought about doing Daytona 500, not a great race to go to compared to Bristol, but I want to try as many tracks as I can. I have tickets every year to Bristol, so that is a given.

I will look for someone looking like a big pumpkin! ;);)

turtle, why head down on sat. and not earlier? my group is making a long weekend outta the deal. u know about the truck race wed? tix are $30, that's gotta be one of the best deals in motorsports ;) :cool:

You right about that, that is a good deal for the truck race. I've seen the Busch race down there but I've never been to a truck race. The wife and I talked about making a long deal out of it and decided we just didn't have the funding right now. These tickets came up spur of the moment and was an oppurtunity we couldn't pass on so we bought them however we are giong to keep it as cheap as possible. Its only a 3 1/2 hour drive down, so we are going to do it all in one day.
