Need Wardens Assistance

I am having a problem with four wheeler riders that have been riding illegally on some land for years. I have just purchased a small portion of it and also have permission to hunt on the rest of it. I have some friends who own other small tracts and they to are wishing to stop this riding. The farmer of the large farm has asked me to put a stop to the riders also. I have tried talking to some of them nicely, and explained to them that the farmer is trying to use his own land to run cattle on but cannot due to the riders tearing down his fences. I have involved the local police department, but they cannot devote the time to catch the riders since they are down over in the woods. I would like some assistance and or suggestions on how to or where to go from here.

i'm sure there will be other help coming, but the best place to start is with the county attorney. without his support and his understanding of your problem you are wizzing in the wind. been there done that. good luck.

You and the owner landowner should call the local CO and ask him to come out and meet with you to discuss the issue. Once he understands the property involved, you can ask him for help.

Myra Minten is our CO. I do not know how to get ahold of her at this point. Any help would be appreciated as I also research how myself!!!

I called Fish and Wildlife and have put the call in to her. Thanks for all your help.

How did it work out? We have had the same problems in the past and continue to have them to include loss of some expensive property.

I have met with our CO and she is going to help me out with it. We have yet to catch one together but we are sure soon to have a time when will be successful. Time will tell. I will keep you posted.
