Just wondering if anyone has been playing the Louisville Poker Tour qualifying for next years world series in Vegas? Played at Wicks pizza on Westport Rd. yesterday and there was 95 signed up, I made it to the top 20 where I had an ace high flush but the other guy hit a boat on 5th street to send me home. I guess I will try again in 2 weeks since we are going to lake cumberland this weekend.

This is actually a free tournament that runs for 30 weeks. There is a game every night of the week, there are 4 wicks pizzas that have one on different nites and three other places but I'am not sure where, I guess you could call Wicks pizza and ask them. How it works is the 1st round which is what is going on now supposedly last for ten weeks the winners of these tournaments get a certificate to play in the semis which start the 2nd week of Oct., you can play as many of these as you want to try to get qualified for the semis. In the semis all the winners play tournaments like in the first round to see who gets to go to the finals. The overall winner gets a seat at next years world series of poker plus they pay your hotel accomidations and plane tickets for two. The dealer down there Sunday said Budweiser was sponsering this and all the resteraunts are making money off people coming and playing at there places. I know they had a schedule there Sunday but I forgot too grab one before I left, good luck if you play and let us know how you do.
