Cumberland Lake

Hey everybody, I need a little input on an upcoming trip. Every year either in Sept or Oct my wife and I take a long weekend and go somewhere. We've been to the beach, lot's of places in GA and NC, but this year we're thinking of renting a place at Cumberland Lake. What's the lake like? I don't have a boat anymore, but it there is good fishing I might do a half day guided trip. Are there any points of interest in the area that we need to take in? TJ

Lake Cumberland State Park is a beautiful place. There is a Lodge with some mighty good cookin' and golf course. Very worth the trip!
