I have a 2005 Reflex Gamegetter. Got the package from Hunter's Friend and could not be more pleased with the bow and package. However, with all the practice lately it appears that the rod (not for sure the correct term), that extends out from where the stabilizer attaches to the bow and connects to the strings, has lost at least one set screw, from the lock nut, and another constantly comes loose from apparently being stripped out (there are a total of three screws). Now to my questions. Could this be the source of the loud noise? Why did it come loose in the first place? If I replace the two set screws, can I put something like Loc-Tite in there to make sure it doesn't happen again?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you haven't contacted Hunters Friend , please do so tomorrow. It can be fixed but you need to contact Mike or Deven at the shop.

The loud noise might be your arrow fletching hitting the cables.

I got the same bow on july 7th. Awesome package!! My bow was a little loud at first, but i put a pair of limbsavers on it, and it got quiet.
