It makes sense, which is why hey should be held on Saturday. The Commission already knows the nswer to the question of what day is most accessible to the hunting public, because they strive to se season openers on Saturdays. They should strive to be better intune of the those wanting to attend a Commission meeting by doing the same.

I'm for Saturday meetings, I'll give up a hunting day to be there, save vacation for weekday hunting.

hmmm,my guess would be thats why they dont have them on saturdays!!!with all those"common" hunters attending, they might clam up and not know how to deal with "common" questions, comments and suggestions

You guys have obviously never attended a commission meeting. Unless you are on the agenda or have requested time during the meeting, you will not be allowed to ask questions or make comments. Eventhough these meetings are open to the public, the "public" has very little participation in their proceedings. What you will find at these meetings is a lot of politcal foolishness which in my opinion has no place in the outdoor world.

That's not true Mr. Duck. You are allowed to speak, ask a question, or make a presentation or comment simply by raising your hand, introducing yourself, and saying your piece. Same holds true for the Committee meetings. But your right about it being political, for sure.

Makes no difference to me personally, since this common man works two Saturdays a month & sometimes gets weekdays off. Hell most of the time I don't get home 'till 6 a.m. so there isn't any such thing as a convenient day for an 8 a.m meeting!

But I know most of you "normal" folks don't live like an antisocial vampire, so I say bring on the Saturday meetings[:)]
