There are some very nice primitive camp sites on Laurel Lake. And, the people are really friendly and not too rednecked! They will give you the last roll of toilet paper and the last swig of coffee. Does any one frequent the spot?

I have stayed at Holly Bay, though far from primitive, it was a great place and Laurel was beautiful.

I have not used any of the camp sites at laurel,I just live about 50 miles from there,But I have done alot of over night fishing, at the docks there, also deer and squirell hunted in most of that area, never had anyone bother, my truck or boat,I have come across some very nice people in the past.
