Will someone tell me the pros and cons of a chrome lined barrell

Chrome lined barrels give more life than std. barrels or stainless barrels, but they are generally considered less acurate because the chrome is a lining and can not be applied perfectly to insure a consistant tolerance. The problem during the early '60s with the M16 were because of the cases sticking to the chrome chambers. Changes to a cleaner burning powder cleared most of it up. Most military rifles will have chrome lined barrels because they need a long service life.
