Does anybody know of somewhere in Central Kentucky where you can buy "custom strikers"? I have the purple heart striker, a jolly and some "regular" strikers but I would like to try some exotic wood striker or any type of strikers besides the same ol department store type.

Just run to Nashville this weekend to the NWTF National convention. There will be more custom stikers there than you can shake a stick at!!!

I make all my own strikers. The exotic woods are pretty, but on my calls I have yet to find anything that sounds better than purpleheart on glass and canarywood on slate. I talked to Harold at Nashville this weekend to get some recommendations. Here is his link. He has almost everything. http://users.pcnow.net/dfowler/Haroldstrikers2.html
