Hello everyone I just wanted to share my new Rifle..I bought a 17 today and love it so far. I just can't wait for a yote to get in front if it. anyone else have on and how do you like em????

I've got a wildcat .17 and they are awesome. It's a .222 Rem.Mag necked down to .17 with a Muz. Vel. of about 4000 fps. Turns things inside out. Have fun!

i thought the new .17 was a .22 mag necked down.........do they make different modles with different shells necked down to .17???.........i saw one where it was a .22 mag neck down.........i also got to shoot it.......nice round.................ez

The new one is a rimfire. Everything else is based on a centerfire cartridge of some sort. The Remington .17 was about the only one ever factory produced until now.

The .17 Rem is hard to beat on foxes. With good shot placement it will drop a yote pretty easily also. The ceterfire is a great gun. Fast, flat and does do some damage.

A freind of mine just bought a Savage 17 also put a 3x9 BSA on it. Thats one fast shooting rifle. The trigger on it really s**ks. Rifle Basix has a drop in kit for about $75 that really makes it sweet. It's one fast and accurate round.
